WOW

WOW!! What a crazy week. I have four tests this week. Five things due and a presentation to make. Man this is crazy. With work and Shula getting fired all together, I think that I am going to go crazy. I guess it is good though. This is the only week it is going to be like this. I don't have to worry about it anymore. Nomally I would be stressed because exam week is coming up but when my "exam week" falls during a normal school week, I tend not to be as stresed. I only have to come back here for one final but next week I do have 2 tests. I have enjoyed this semester mostly. OO yea and next week I have to go to court. BOO!! GOOD LUCK with exams everybody!!

Turkey Day

For Thanksgiving I am going to have dinner with my dad's family and then have dinner with my mom's family. All I know is that I am going to be super fat. I am going to watch football too. Friday, I am going to go shopping first thing in the moring at the Tanger mall. OO yea and I think I am supposed to say that I am going study for this class also...haha just kidding I probably will! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Technology in the Classroom

I want to teach Kindergarten. I am not really sure how useful technology would be in the Kindergarten classroom. This sounds bad but I know that the TV will be one piece of technology used. I would probably also use a CD Player. I might use children's toys llike LeadPad and things of that such. I do know some kids who have been learning how to use the computer in Kindergarten. I think that I would also use a computer to help children learn things through computer games and such. MY BIRTHDAY IS SATURDAY!! ROLL TIDE!!

Football

I cannot freaking believe that Alabama lost to Mississippi State this weekend. What a bummer. I don't even know what to say about it. I am so stuck in one of my classes. I have this paper to write and it is 40% of my test, it is called the Danny Paper. I have started writing it but I am just stuck right now. It is like I am having a brain fart that is lasting for like 5 days. Anyways, Have a good week!!!!

School

Ugh...School is kicking my butt right now. I have this portfolio due tomorrow in my classroom management class. It has been one of the best projects I have had to do yet but it is also very time consuming. I have spent more than $70 on it. My mom has been a really big help on it though. In my Ed. Psych. class I feel like we have a quiz or a test or something everyday. In my Art Ed. class, I really like the class and stuff but the teacher seems to just lecture and lecture. We haven't done a bunch of projects yet like I was really hoping for.

Birthday!

Today it is 24 days away from my birthday. I am so super excited. I turn 21 the day of the Alabama versus Auburn game this year. I can't think of any other day that I would want to have my 21st birthday! Anyways I just thought yall should know that.

Class

We are doing this web site in my edm class right now and I really am enjoying it. I am doing my web site about the SEC and the team's schedules. The guy that sits next to me is doing his about the SEC also so it is funny to see what he is doing and how mine is different. This is definitely my most favorite project right now. Although, at first, I did think it was going to be hard and tricky but now I am really getting into it.

Auburn

I knew it would happen so but I really didn't think it would be this weekend! Auburn proved to the country that they were WAY over-rated at #2! They had a very sad showing of their athletic performance. By the 4th quarter I was actually praying that they would make a stand or at least do something and I never ever say stuff like that. Like I have said over and over, Auburn thought they were invincible and they let that get the best of them. Props to Arkansas. I am doing my web page on football in the SEC and the teams!!

I still believe

I don't care what any of those Auburn fans say. I still believe in Alabama and I still believe in Leigh Tiffin. They just need to hold on and watch out. Alabama has a great new quaterback that, although young and inexperienced, has already started to shine through. He might have thrown 3 interceptions this weekend but he hasn't really ever had the hard game time pressure and the crowd at the Swamp to burden him. Shula will be a great Coach soon. He has to finish rebuilding the disaster of the sanctions. Tiffin just needs to get in the game mentally that is his problem. If he was there mentally he would be the great kicker his dad was. Number 2 isn't anything for Auburn. They are only number 2 in one poll that doesn't even count in the BCS standings. If it was Alabama 2 years ago and this year that was undefeated so far, you better bet that they would be sitting right up there and going to the National Championship. Alabama has the tradition to prove it. To all of you Auburn fans who think your team is something, watch out because if South Carolina almost beat yall, yall have a LONG road ahead. RAMMER JAMMER....I STILL BELIEVE!!!

Question

So what I don't get about teaching is this inclusion program. It is so rediculous. How do you have a regular education teacher teaching a class os special education students. There is no way that those students are getting the proper education that they need and they deserve without a teacher who knows how and what to teach these students. I think that if this inclusion process is staying for a while then students preparing to be teachers need to have better training in handling and teachering special education students. How can these students be getting a proper education with improperly educated students?

My Computer

Oh My Gosh! I am so aggrevated right now. This is the second time that my laptop has bombed. I just don't know what is going on with it. The first time that it bombed was becasue my hard drive had gone bad and so I lost all my information and I had like 500 songs and all of my pictures for two years on there. I am sooo mad because last week it did it again. I don't know what is wrong because it just won't turn on. How aggrevating. Anyways that is my aggrevating news for the day.

My New Job

Last Friday, I had an interview for a position at a daycare. I put my application in there like a month ago and they finally called me back last week. I got the job and I started on Monday. I have been working with the after school care. I have a class of students for K-5. I enjoy it so far. The director kind of makes me nervous when we peeks in on my room. Some of the other workers, I haven't decided if they are cool or not. They seem to be at some times but at others they don't. I work there with another girl from our class, Jordan Hall, she actually told me to go get a job there. I hope it works out because it will definitely give some good experience with working with children! The only bummer is that I don't work that many hours and I definitely don't make that much money. OO well, I hope everything works out!

Power Point

Randy, I enjoyed his power point. Your little girl is just a cute a she can be! I bet he really enjoyed scuba diving. I really want to try that one day.
Another presentation that I enjoyed was Heather Lanier. I think that it is absolutely hilarious that you have a fear of toilets. Even though a lot of people don't want to admit it, they also have a fear of toilets. I have a fear of using a public restroom. The only place I feel comfortable is at my house. I don't she should feel stange about having that kind of fear. Everybody has something that is strange about them.
Sarah Perkins' presentation was unbelievable. I think that it is absolutely amazing that you spent considerable time on an island. The pictures were really awesome. It is cool that you had a pet goat and stuff. I think that was my favorite presentation!
Jacqueline Loper and I had a couple similar pictures. I thought that was pretty funny because she said that her friend asked her if she could use her colors for her wedding and then when it is my turn to go, I had pictures of my cousin's wedding and her colors were the same. Congrats on getting married!!!
